General Requirements for Entry permit

All applications must either be sent by courier or in person to the consular section of the Embassy of the Republic of South Sudan in Abuja during working hours.

  • Completed Form 5 (A) for each applicant with all the questions answered. If hand written, it must be in capital letters and must be legible. (This form can be downloaded from the Embassy’s website)

  • A valid passport whose expiry date must not be less than six months and a photocopy of the data page of the passport.

  • Two original passport sized photographs.

  • Proof of sufficient financial resources to support the applicant’s stay while in the Republic of South Sudan.

The following requirements shall be used as proof:

  • Legal tender carried by the alien.

  • Documentary evidence such as employment contract.

  • A return ticket to his/her country of residence.

  • A bank guarantee.

  • A South Sudanese guarantor who pledges to take care of the expenses of the alien during his/her stay in South Sudan.

  • A certificate of inoculation or immunization for Yellow fever.

  • A recent Police report, if requested by the Immigration authority.

Note: Visa is granted for single entry.
